On Saturday, March 28th an F3 tornado with 140 mile per hour winds hit Jonesboro. Extensive damage was done to the Mall of Turtle Creek, restaurants, retail stores not a part of the mall, the airport, a subdivision named "Bridger Place", the Bush plant, etc before moving into more open areas.
A heartfelt "Thank You" to the weathermen and women for their coverage giving people ample time to seek shelter.
As always in difficult times, good people step up to help their neighbors boarding up windows, placing tarps on roofs, providing much needed food, monetary support and prayers.
Jonesboro is a great place to live!
