As we approach Christmas Day, I am reading about the city of Bethlehem and Jesus birth. Luke 2:1-20 tells us of the gift of love because God so loved the world that God gave his only son. God gave us the first and greatest Christmas gift imaginable: a Savior in the form of a swaddled infant. This love prompts praise in the heavens and on earth. This love is good news of great joy for one and all.
Set aside the cares of the world for a few days and take in the thought that you are loved more than you can possibly imagine.
Merry Christmas!
