Earlier this month, our family welcomed a new baby boy. His parents spent many hours to find the name that would identify their newborn son throughout his entire life. Upon hearing the baby's name for the first time, it sounded very different but within a short period of time, the name and baby became the perfect fit.
Isn't it a wonderful thing that we have names to identify us rather than a number. We hear our family speak our names with kindness, caring and love (except for the times when as children we disobey). We hear our names in places of education and later in our vocation. Think about the honor of being known by your name.
"Sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name. And they're always glad you came. You wanna be where you can see our troubles are all the same. You wanna be where everybody knows your name".
